Before every trip our Captains get a marine weather briefing. Next they talk to other fishing boats that are already out fishing and get a report on the conditions. Then they consult their list of fishing spots to find the one that best suits the trip's conditions. Most of our fishing is done within one hour's travel time from the dock.
Our fishing equipment is set up for bottom fishing so you will be fishing for Red Grouper, Black Grouper, Yellowtail Snapper Mangrove Snapper, Cobia Mackerel and Mutton. Depending on the season you may also catch Tuna or Mahi Mahi. There is a large variety of fish in the local waters so you never know what our Captains will find for you.

No. Everything is included when you fish on the Gulfstream III. This includes rod, reel, tackle, bait and your fishing license. Our mates will be there to help you if you have problems. If you have your own gear and you want to bring it please feel free to do so.
Our experienced crew is eager to give you a lesson and a few pointers to make you feel like a pro. On the way out they usually give a quick class in how to use our equipment. Then when we get to the fishing spot they will go around the boat and give individual instruction to anyone that needs a hand.

The Gulfstream III has a full service air conditioned galley that Linda keeps stocked with soft drinks, water, snacks, and sandwiches. She also has a selection of ice cold beer available. Make sure to bring sun block, sunglasses, hat, camera and cool clothing for warm weather.
You may bring a small cooler with you if you like. Please do not bring glass bottles as they pose a safety issue on the boat.
Once we get back to the dock our mates are available to clean your catch. You can take it home and fire up the grill or ask us about the local restaurants that will prepare a meal for you with your fresh catch.
